| This 65 SS is owned by Jerry Rounds of Murrieta. It is currently undergoing a frame off. Besides a new interior and options such as factory tach and gauges and a wood wheel, upgrades include front disc brakes, shaved firewall, and a stroker 454.
The 454 has been stroked to 496 by Bob Seabring in Torrance , and is topped of with Dart Pro 1 heads and a Demon Carb. It's backed by a Muncie 4spd. and a Ford 9"
After the body was remounted, it was sent out to Doug's Headers in Anaheim for a complete exhaust system.
The custom 2 piece headers and 3" exhaust system have completely jet coated, and electrically operated cutouts were also installed.
